    Our frequently asked questions are based upon real questions we receive from clients, website visitors, and other curious souls who have inquired about our business and our services.

    Why are none of your services free?

    We’ve worked long and hard to hone our skills and become experts (or so our clients tell us) in our niche areas.

    Expertise, professionalism and experience come with a price tag. -We are mid-market, meaning our prices are in the mid range ~ neither high nor low ~ of our equivalently skilled and reputable peers. -

    Our interest is in gaining and retaining as well as serving those web clients who are willing to make an investment in their online presence that they will not regret.

    What are your areas of expertise?

    Expert organic search engine optimization to maximize the client’s visibility in the search engines and increase their traffic measurably. -

    Organic online marketing combined with search engine optimization to significantly reduce or completely do away with any pay per click campaigns that they are involved with.

    The add-on or shopping cart I want you to install for me is open source and free. Why are you charging me an installation and setup fee? If the program is free your services should be free!

    The  add-on or shopping cart may be free, which means it’s licensed under the GNU license (see http://www.gnu.org). That’s the General Public License which means it’s essentially free and you don’t have to pay a licensing fee.

    The time and work required to install, correctly setup, test and customize the application for your use on your website is what I charge you for and what you pay me for, with the 30 day technical support and the lifetime free email support.

    Everyone’s time, experience and expertise has a price on it, mine included. When I charge you for any work done on your website, blog, eBay store or other venue, for SEO, for website maintenance, for upgrades and other extra work, to install and setup or customize something, program something, you are paying me for my time, experience and expertise in that charge. On the other hand, you could always pay my hourly fee instead……………………. Time is money.

    Shopping cart installation means you will add all of my items for me, right?

    WRONG! Shopping cart installation means setting up your hosting server with the necessary MySql databases and other necessary scripts if needed, physically installing the software on your server, customizing the look and feel of your shopping cart to correspond with your branding, and walking you through the backend (the administration end) so that you can add to and setup your shopping cart your way and handle all aspects of  your shopping cart yourself.

    In addition we will setup your Google analytics, email, SSL cert. We do not nor have we ever installed client items into their shopping carts ~ that is the sole responsibility of the client to attend to their business. We offer unlimited email support for all shopping cart questions however we do not do your work for you.

    What is your attitude towards pay per click (PPC) programs?

    Unless the client company is large and has a generous budget for PPC, it’s a complete waste of time and hard earned money. Many PPC clicks and hits are from your competition in an effort to drain your budget and get you out of the picture, so they have more room. Many others are from the merely curious. Very few actual clicks/hits convert into actual sales.

    I always advise my clients that the money they are spending on PPC and paid online ads can be put to better and much wiser use if they invest in their website with expert organic search engine optimization and marketing instead. PPC programs serve the companies who run them, such as the major search engines, very well and put a nice chunk of change in their pockets. Expert organic SEO on the other hand serves the website owner, our clients, very well and puts money in their pockets with increased traffic and sales. It’s that simple.

    What is your customer work ethic and customer service like? -

    I respond to emails, phone messages and faxes within 24 hours, always, and often much much sooner. I don’t like to be kept waiting. Why should I keep my clients waiting?

    I am professional, courteous, work hard and give my clients 110% ~ their online success is my success too. I like to see people succeed. We have many many clients who will vouch for our trustworthiness, our work ethic, and for our customer service.

    Every client is special. I make it my business to find out their business goals, present and future. I also make sure we address all concerns to our mutual satisfaction so that we proceed in an orderly, timely and productive manner.

    Expedient time management is of great importance to me. I do not miss deadlines. I also make sure not to overbook my schedule so that every client is assured of getting the time from me that they have paid for.
