A little bit about Jewelry Collectibles Design ~
I’m self employed living in Hackensack New Jersey. I run an online retail store selling my artisan designer jewelry, home decor, wedding and prom jewelry, antiques and collectibles, women’s and babies fashions, as well as arts and crafts supplies; I am also a business services consultant and website designer ~ servicing the jewelry, antiques, and arts community plus other small businesses; bridal consultant, beauty consultant and freelance writer. I’ve been in business on the Internet since 2000.
Why do I have so many business interests and keep my fingers in so many pies? Because I am self supporting, and when one slows down as they invariably do, another usually picks up. Keeps me off the streets and out of the job agencies looking for a job. Also allows me to work from home and be self sufficient.
I like to garden, do needlework, and spend time with my beautiful feather kids and my dinosaur girl. More on them below!

This precious little girl is no longer with us, but she made my life beautiful for 12 years. Her twin brother is below. He is still with us!
Snugglebuggy is still with us, our little Old Man ~ he’ll be 17 years old in April 2008.
This is Honey who is Snugglebuggy’s new little sister. She will be 4 years old in September 2008
These are our 3 parakeets ~ the cute little perky one outside decided she wanted “out” while the other two are inside ~ the class clown is the little very blue fellow on the bars and our resident comedian is at the very top of the pink swing. My house is NEVER quiet with these guys around, but I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
This is Dinosaur Woman, aka Jungle Jane, and her real name is Liz. She’s got quite a story behind her.
Ah yes, Liz the Ballerina!
Lizzie was dumped on my doorstep in September 2006. She was scrawny, cold and scared. I live on a busy county road, so my choice to take her in was kind of clear ~ if I didn’t, either she would’ve become “road splat” or the red tailed hawk would’ve invited her for dinner with her as the guest of honor. I soon learned so many things about being an iguana mamma. Lucky for her I do work from home because she needs fairly constant care. When she joined our family she was almost 3 feet long, from snout to tail tip. A year and a half later, she is almost 4 feet long. She has her own habitat, at considerable cost to me, however she needed it because she will grow to 6 feet or more over her 20 year lifespan. Her habitat is refrigerator sized. I live in a studio apartment. Good thing I am NOT a packrat or no one would move anywhere!Last September just before her one year birthday (one year with us, although I estimate her actual age to be around 3 years old) she decided to “take a vacation” and calmly strolled away from me and went missing. We were sitting outside in the sun because she hadn’t been feeling too good. She went missing for 12 days. I finally found her in a local animal shelter. She jumped across the room into my arms and would not let go!This adventure cost us two months worth of antibiotics at the vets, and caused poor Liz to get stuck with a needle 3 times a week by Mommy. Fortunately God gave me the sweetest, most docile, never-a-mean-bone-in-her-body iguana in Liz ~ she never once got mad at me for the shots, just snuggled up in a towel and let me hug her til she calmed down.
So, that’s Lizzie’s adventure. She’s definitely a member of the family……. in fact, all my birds call her “Birdie”!!
And the lady to whom I owe an incredible debt of thanks to……
