I’m going to be reviewing various (and quite a few, actually) social networking venues and social shopping venues for the following:

1 ~ ease of use for setup

2 ~ whether or not they allow you to promote your own goods / services

3 ~ and finally for results in terms of website traffic

Marketing one’s own business can be a daunting task, in terms of all the venues out there, which ones to choose, and are they worth your time. Time is money so you don’t want the time you spend on these venues to be a waste, rather, you want to reap rewards in terms of traffic to your site. Traffic is necessary, sales resulting from traffic is even better although never guaranteed but then nothing in life IS guaranteed.

Economic conditions as of late not withstanding, eBay disasters and inflexibility plus their self serving attitude not withstanding, all of us with a website owe it to ourselves to make the absolute best of it that we can. Since social networking and social shopping is the current wave, and I believe one that will stick around, these venues need to be examined and rated for producing results as well as ease of use.
